Rich and Personalised

In Key Stage 3, our students, grouped according to ability and prior attainment, follow a common curriculum. The average numbers of lessons per week in each subject across Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) are:

Key Stage 4

In Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11) all students access the  core curriculum, which includes English, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Design Technology, Personal, Health, Social, Citizenship Education, Religious Education and Physical Education.

 

In addition, they may choose from the following range of options:

GCSE’s (in Modern Foreign Languages, Manufacturing/Engineering, History, Geography, Physical Education, Drama, Art & Design, Music)

BTEC’s (in Health and Social Care, Sport, Performing Arts, Applied Science, Horticulture)

ASDAN/COPE & a work placement.

Diplomas (in Land-based, Construction, Retail)
